Study Details

The investigational drug in this research is being developed for the potential treatment of plycythemia vera, which, is a certain kind of cancer where the body produces too many red blood cells.

Women Eligibility Criteria

• Must be of non-childbearing potential due to:
  • Age 40+ and post-menopausal for 1 year, OR
  • Surgically sterile due to one of the following procedures:
    • Hysterectomy
    • Bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy
    • Bilateral salpingectomy
    • Bilateral oophorectomy

Body Mass Index (BMI)

• Participants should have a BMI of: 18-32

Smoking Criteria

• Participants who are smokers must:
  • No smoking 3 months prior to check-in. 

Medication Restrictions

• Participants should not be using:
  • Weight loss medications
  • Insulin (currently or in the past 3 months)

Screening Procedures

• Screening procedures for this study may include:
  • Vitals
  • Physical examination
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • Lab testing for HbA1c
  • Drug and alcohol testing
